Philip began his performing career as a silent clown and juggler on the streets of his native New York City, honing his skills in the bustling metropolis before transitioning to film.
He made his mark in the industry when cast as Woody Allen's assassin in the 1980 film Stardust Memories, marking a significant turning point in his career.
Philip's impressive resume includes a range of notable roles, including Salieri's Servant in Milos Forman's Academy Award-winning film Amadeus, as well as a part in Forman's Man on the Moon and Fritz in James Ivory's Slaves of New York.
He has also worked extensively abroad, including a stint in Prague as The Guild Agent in the mini-series Dune, a role in the film A Knight's Tale, and as Cipriani in the French production of Napoleon.
More recently, Philip has appeared in a range of projects, including A Boy Called Christmas, White Bird, and S. Africa's SuperNova, in which he played the chilling role of psycho killer Cole.
In addition to his film work, Philip has also made a name for himself in television, with credits including ER, NCIS, Judging Amy, and Californication.
Currently residing in Warsaw, Poland, Philip continues to pursue his passion for acting, having recently starred as Jack in the feature film Hel, Wrona in Diversion End, Bronson in The Coldest Game, and played a role in the television serial Ziaro Prawdy.
