Philippe Petit, a celebrated and accomplished French high-wire artist, made his entry into this world on August 13, 1949, and is widely renowned for his extraordinary and daring high-wire walk between the two majestic twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, New York, on August 7, 1974.
