Pooja Kumar's journey to stardom began with her crowning as Miss India USA, catapulting her into a global acting career. This American actress has since made a mark in major Hollywood films, including Man on a Ledge (2012),and the IFC film Bollywood Hero (2009),where she starred alongside SNL star Chris Kattan.
Her breakthrough role came in the iconic Indian actor and filmmaker Kamal Haasan's blockbuster film Vishwaroopam (2013). In fact, the renowned Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan selected Pooja as the most promising new star in a contest where he scrutinized over 60,000 contestants vying for that recognition. Bachchan predicted that Pooja would eventually land a major Bollywood role, which she has now accomplished in Kamal Haasan's film.
