Quynh, a talented Canadian actor, is set to take the stage with supporting lead roles in two short films, Easter Epic (2024) and Different Kind of Sick (2024),both premiering at film festivals in November 2024.
Quynh's parents, refugees from Vietnam, settled in Calgary, Canada, where they raised two children, including Quynh. Prior to pursuing her passion for acting, Quynh worked in the telecommunications industry before relocating to Vancouver to hone her craft.
Throughout her journey, Quynh has received extensive training, including Canada's National Voice Intensive, the Arts Club Actor's Intensive, and classes with renowned acting coach Andrew McIlroy. Her studies are ongoing as she continues to refine her skills.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Quynh is a dedicated yogi and established yoga teacher. She is also a long-time vegan and advocate for animal welfare.
Quynh shares her life with her partner of 17 years, Randy Volkart, and their two rescue cats. In her free time, she enjoys observing wildlife in their natural habitats, having had the privilege of watching sea otters, hoary marmots, and raccoons with joy.
