Randy Oglesby is a talented actor who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, he developed a passion for theatre at an early age. He attended the University of Virginia, where he began studying theatre and later transferred to the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.
After completing his studies, Oglesby joined A.C.T.'s acting company, where he performed in over 40 plays during his seven-year tenure. He then moved to Los Angeles and became a founding member of the Pacific Resident Theatre, where he acted, wrote, directed, and produced plays.
Oglesby has also had a successful career in film and television, with guest appearances in numerous shows, including all the David E. Kelly shows and Star Trek, from Next Generation to Enterprise. He has also had recurring roles in Godless, Strange Angels, Sharp Objects, and most recently, For All Mankind, where he plays the role of President Jim Bragg.
In addition to his work in entertainment, Oglesby is a family man and lives in Los Angeles with his wife, two daughters, and a grandson. He is also an avid horseman and owns a thoroughbred gelding.
