Next person biography:
Rebecca Marshall was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is the youngest of three siblings, with older siblings April and Joe, and has an Estonian, Ukrainian, and English background. This green-eyed Canadian began acting at a very young age.
At the age of ten, Rebecca embarked on her first musical and dance performances. At twelve, she wrote and starred as Dorothy in her own production of The Wizard Of Oz. She started modeling at fifteen and did numerous print ads before deciding to dedicate herself to the stage and enrolling in acting classes at Ryerson University and Actors Studio.
Rebecca's career began with starring roles in music videos, including "Onion Girl" by Holy Cole and "I Waited" by Chris Cummings. She then made the career-changing move to Los Angeles, earning a guest-starring role on CBS's Threshold as Emily Biggs/Candy Cane. She went on to land roles on Emmy Award-winning The West Wing, playing politico Carrie Marino, and has since appeared in episodes of CSI Miami and Shark, working alongside actors such as Jim Strugess, James Woods, Dylan McDermott, Peter Dinkledge, Ron Silver, Jeffery Donovan, and Sean Patrick Flannery.
Rebecca was in "That's My Boy" starring Adam Sandler, playing the bubbly friend of Leighton Meester, and starred as Matt Dallas's girlfriend in the dialogue-driven indie "Life Tracker," which she also produced through her production company Moxie Lady Productions.
Her most challenging role was one of the leads in "Raze," directed by Josh Waller, starring alongside Rachel Nichols, Zoe Bell, and Tracie Thompson. The action-thriller follows women who are abducted into an underground fighting system and forced to fight each other for their survival.
Rebecca went on to join the cast of the TV series "Arctic Air" as the town's no-nonsense cop Lindsay Gallagher for Season 3. She also played the sexy demon Lola on "Supernatural," Tenley Lark on Season 4 of "Franklin and Bash," and Jonas on "Girlfriends Guide To Divorce."
As a Hallmark favorite, fans of "Cedar Cove" embraced Rebecca's character Alex on the hit show starring Andie McDowell. Currently, catch Rebecca on "Good Witch" Season 3 as Jessica Carrington, the author who has given up on finding true love. Rebecca currently lives in Los Angeles with her dog Sophie.
