Rick Domeier embarked on an illustrious journey when he joined QVC as a Host Trainee in the fall of 1994, eventually becoming a permanent Program Host in April 1995.
Prior to his stint at QVC, Rick was a talented member of several theater companies in southern California, including the Genesis Theater Company in Long Beach and Will and Company, where he had the opportunity to showcase his acting skills in various roles.
Some of his notable performances include playing the iconic character of McDuff in "Macbeth" and Hal Carter in "Picnic".
Rick's passion for acting led him to further his studies at the renowned Tony Award-winning South Coast Repertory professional training program in southern California.
In addition to his impressive work in live theater, Rick has also made appearances on various television shows, including the critically acclaimed "St. Elsewhere", "Dream On", "The Young and the Restless", and "Likely Suspects".
He also co-starred in the cult classic horror movie, "Evil Dead II", directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Sam Raimi.
Rick's work in commercials for Good Year, Isuzu, and Pontiac ultimately led to him hosting a pilot for an electronic retailing show, which caught the attention of QVC executives who asked him to audition.
Rick's educational background includes studying theater at St. Cloud State College in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, and the San Francisco Theater Academy, which provided him with valuable experience in various theater productions.
As a member of the Screen Actors Guild for 10 years, Rick Domeier has established himself as a talented and versatile actor, and currently resides in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, his adopted hometown.
