Richard Walters is a multifaceted Canadian Jamaican artist, boasting a diverse repertoire that spans across acting, entertainment, dance, and music.
As a seasoned actor, Walters began his professional career as a series regular on the popular teen drama "Degrassi," appearing in six seasons. Since then, he has made notable appearances in various acclaimed films and television shows, including "Akilla's Escape" (TIFF 2020),"American Woman" (TIFF 2019),"Frankie Drake Mysteries," "Hudson & Rex," and "Diggstown."
Walters' talents extend beyond the screen, as he has also produced a range of award-winning short films, music videos, TV pilots, and web series. His music video/short film hybrid "Speak" won the Jury Award for Best Short Film at the Miami 4 Social Change Film Festival.
