Growing up in the San Fernando Valley, Sanchez's childhood was marked by frequent moves to new apartments, where he was raised alongside his uncles, aunts, cousins, mother, and two older brothers.
At the tender age of six, Sanchez began sneaking out of his house to explore the streets, discovering a love for basketball and football. He went on to play quarterback in high school, with aspirations of becoming a professional athlete.
After graduating from Ulysses S. Grant High School in 1996, Sanchez attended Valley College, where he continued to pursue his athletic dreams. It was during his second year at Valley College that he crossed paths with a man who would later introduce him to the world of acting.
Throughout his career, Sanchez has had the privilege of working alongside renowned Oscar and Emmy award-winning directors and actors. His breakthrough role came as a guest star on the show "The Shield" in 2002.
