Biography

River Codack, a talented actor from Ontario, made the bold decision to relocate to the West Coast at the tender age of 10. As he navigated his new surroundings, he developed a passion for acting at the ripe age of 14, and it wasn't long before he began his illustrious career in the entertainment industry.

Codack's breakthrough role came when he starred in the award-winning short film Crumbs, which premiered at the prestigious Crazy 8's film festival. This early success paved the way for his subsequent appearances in various projects, including a guest-starring role in the Netflix series Grendel and a lead role in the independent short film My Name is Arnold.

The latter film earned Codack a nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Vancouver Short Film Festival in 2023, a testament to his impressive range and talent. He continued to hone his craft, taking on recurring roles in the CBC Gem series Son of a Critch and the mini-series Under The Bridge, as well as a principal role in the latter.

Codack's impressive resume also includes appearances in the popular family drama Heartland, where he played the role of teen Nathan, as well as in the independent feature films What Comes Next, Tracker, and the highly anticipated A24 feature film Heretic, starring the renowned Hugh Grant.
