Rob Benedict is a talented actor with a diverse range of roles in television and film, including notable appearances in "Felicity", "Supernatural", "The Boys", and the movie "Waiting...".
Born and raised in Columbia, Missouri, Benedict pursued his passion for performance studies at Northwestern University, earning a degree in the field. His early career was marked by regional theater performances, including a critically acclaimed one-man show based on the life of James Dean.
In Los Angeles, Benedict transitioned to improv, sketch comedy, and stand-up comedy, eventually landing guest star roles on television before being cast as Richard Coad in "Felicity", which ran for four years on the WB. Throughout his 25-year career, he has acted in over 80 episodes of television and film.
In 2012, Benedict wrote, produced, and starred in the short film "The Sidekick", which featured a talented cast including Jordan Peele, Lizzy Caplan, Ike Barinholtz, Ron Livingston, and Jason Ritter.
In 2017, he collaborated with friend and fellow actor Richard Speight Jr. to write, produce, and star in the 10-episode series "Kings of Con".
When not acting, Benedict is the lead vocalist of the indie rock band Louden Swain, which has released its 10th record, "Feelings and Such", in 2023.
