During his time at Ryerson, he met future collaborators Mike Beaver, Jason Jones, and Stacey Depass. His first professional gig was on the YTV series "It's Alive," a sketch comedy show that introduced him to writing. Following the show's cancellation, he co-founded the comedy troupe "Beaver, Tinkler, Majumder" with Mike Beaver and Shaun Majumder. The group later evolved into "The Bobroom" with the addition of Jason Jones, Stacey Depass, and Jenn Baxter.
Rob's passion for voice-overs led him to book roles in several animated series, including "Sam & Max Freelance Police," "X-Men," and "Sailor Moon." As a member of "The Bobroom," he wrote, performed, and directed numerous live sketch shows across Toronto, Chicago, and New York City. This experience ultimately led to the creation of the Comedy Network series "The Bobroom."
Rob's film credits include "The Tuxedo" and the cult classic "Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle." He has written for several animated series, including "Wayside," "Pandalian," and "Almost Naked Animals," and has provided voices for video games such as "Superman Returns" and "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2." He has also worked on pilots and series, including "Celebrity Deathmatch" and the Fox prime time animated series "American Dad."
Rob has performed in numerous commercials and landed a recurring role on ABC's "Notes From The Underbelly." He has also voiced characters on PBS's "The Cat In The Hat Knows A Lot About That" and Cartoon Network's "Almost Naked Animals." Additionally, he has voiced Gingka in "Beyblade Metal Fusion" and plays too many characters to name on the same show.
As a creative consultant on "Almost Naked Animals," Rob divides his time between LA and Toronto, continuing to develop series and films.
