Robert A. Iger is the Executive Chairman of The Walt Disney Company and Chairman of the Board of Directors. He has held this position since February 2020, after serving as Chief Executive Officer for 15 years.
During his tenure, Iger has transformed Disney into one of the world's largest and most admired media and entertainment companies. He has focused on three key pillars: creating the best content possible, fostering innovation and technology, and expanding into new markets.
Iger has made significant acquisitions, including Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 21st Century Fox. He has also overseen the opening of Disney's first theme park in China and the release of record-breaking films.
Under his leadership, Disney has become a leader in digital technology, launching the Disney+ streaming service and ESPN+. The company has received numerous awards and recognitions, including being named one of the "Most Reputable Companies" and "Best Employers" by Forbes magazine.
