Robert Dominick Jones, a native Brooklynite, was one of the original members of the renowned Everyman Theatre Company of Brooklyn, a premier Street Theatre company in the 1970s. Founded by Geraldine Fitzgerald and Brother Jonathan Ringkamp, the troupe performed a diverse range of productions, including original musicals such as "Everyman and Roach", "Elena", and "Mister Esteban", as well as classical plays at esteemed venues like the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Lincoln Center, and summer festivals in parks and city streets.
During this remarkable period, Jones had the privilege of studying at The Stella Adler Acting Conservatory, a prestigious institution that fostered his artistic growth. He also had the opportunity to workshopped with the esteemed Judith Malina and Julian Beck of The Living Theatre, further refining his craft.
As a member of The Everyman Company, Jones performed in numerous plays at various iconic venues across New York City and Brooklyn. His impressive resume also includes stints in television, where he guest-starred in a variety of TV series. Following his service in the U.S. Navy in the mid-1970s, Jones ventured west to explore the film and television industry, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his remarkable career.
