Robert Moloney is a talented and versatile actor based in Vancouver, Canada, with a thriving career spanning over two decades across film, television, and theatre. Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Robert's passion for acting began in high school at Sir Winston Churchill, where he honed his craft before relocating to Vancouver to pursue his dream at the renowned Studio 58 Theatre School.
Upon graduating, Robert's professional journey took off with appearances in popular television shows such as The X-Files, The Outer Limits, and Stargate SG-1. Throughout his illustrious career, he has had the privilege of working alongside some of the most esteemed actors and directors in the industry, including Leonardo DiCaprio in The Revenant, William H. Macy in Door to Door, Robert Altman in Killer App, Mark Rydell in Masters of Science Fiction, Zach Snyder in Man of Steel, and Alejandro Gonzales Inarritu in The Revenant.
Robert's extensive body of work has taken him across Canada and as far away as Australia, where he contributed to the Dr. Who spin-off, K9, in 2009. His dedication to his craft has earned him numerous accolades, including a Leo award nomination for his work in the MOW Christmas on Chestnut Street in 2006 and two Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards, of which he won for his captivating portrayal of Steve in Clybourne Park at the Arts Club Theatre.
When not busy with his acting career, Robert is an avid downhill skier, urban cyclist, cigar enthusiast, and social and environmental activist. He is also deeply in love with his girlfriend Julie Lynn Mortensen.
