As a result, Robert embarked upon a three-year journey of self-discovery and artistic growth at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA),where he honed his craft and developed the skills necessary to succeed in the competitive world of theater. Following his time at RADA, he further solidified his reputation as a talented thespian by joining the esteemed ranks of the Royal Shakespeare Company, a coveted institution renowned for its commitment to excellence in the art of Shakespearean performance.
It was the year 2009 when Whitelock embarked on a new chapter in his career, taking to the podium to impart his vast knowledge and expertise in the realm of art to eager students. Fast forward two years, to 2010, Whitelock co-founded Monokrome Publishing Company, a venture that allowed him to harmoniously merge his fervent passions for art and literature.
Within the walls of this esteemed publishing house, Whitelock had the privilege of collaborating with like-minded individuals, including the talented Aaron Munday, to co-author a notable publication that would go on to make a lasting impact in the world of art and design. The fruits of their labor, "Monokrome - World Class Graffiti Design in Black and White," was a testament to the power of creative collaboration and a celebration of the artistic genius that lay at the heart of Whitelock's work.
Whitelock's remarkable stage presence was masterfully demonstrated in the highly acclaimed production of "The 39 Steps", a theatrical masterpiece that astutely utilized a small yet talented ensemble of actors to expertly portray a multitude of characters.
