Roberto Bertea's illustrious career in the world of entertainment began with his debut as an actor on the stage at the tail end of the 1930s. It was during this period that he first caught the attention of the renowned director Carmine Gallone, who subsequently offered him a role in the film "Oltre l'amore". Following the war, Bertea went on to establish himself as a voice actor, initially working within the CID and SAS cooperatives in Rome. As the years progressed, he gradually assumed the role of dubbing director in the 1970s, a position that would come to define his professional trajectory.
In addition to his work in film, Bertea was also actively involved in radio prose, with a notable stint at Radio Rai that spanned the 1960s. He also branched out into the realm of entertainment, serving as a presenter for various shows, often in collaboration with his colleague Gianna Piaz. Furthermore, Bertea demonstrated his versatility by taking on occasional roles as a scriptwriter, screenwriter, director, and dialogue adapter.
