Romesh Ranganathan is a multi-award-winning comedian, television presenter, and writer, best known for hosting various popular shows such as The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan, The Ranganation, Rob & Romesh Vs, A League Of Their Own, Asian Provocateur, and the new presenter of BBC One's Weakest Link.
As a host, Romesh has his own BBC Sounds and Radio 2 show For The Love Of Hip Hop and co-hosts the hit podcast Wolf & Owl with his comedy mate Tom Davis.
Romesh is also a bestselling author, with his autobiography Straight Outta Crawley: The Memoirs Of A Distinctly Average Human Being being a Sunday Times Bestseller. His second book, As Good as It Gets: Life Lessons from a Reluctant Adult, was published worldwide in October 2020.
Romesh's last tour, The Cynic's Mixtape, sold out across the UK, including fourteen nights at London's Eventim Apollo, and was released as a special on Netflix in 2022. The tour culminated in a taping at his hometown venue The Hawth in Crawley.
Romesh has also ventured into American television, launching his own show Just Another Immigrant on Showtime in 2018. He has also appeared on James Corden's Late Late Show and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. In 2023, he returned to the United States with a sold-out show at the iconic New York Town Hall.
Romesh has also returned to acting, writing, and starring in two new sitcoms produced with his own production company, Ranga Bee. Avoidance premiered on BBC One in summer 2022, and Romantic Getaway launched on Sky Max in January 2023.
In 2023, Romesh will turn his hand at writing for a middle-grade audience with his debut novel, Lil' Muffin Drops the Mic, which will be published by Puffin in July and features illustrations from James Lancett.
