Roy Horan, the current CEO and founder of Innovea Ltd., embarked on his career as a martial arts student under the tutelage of renowned Korean taekwondo master and popular Hong Kong movie super-villain, Jeong-lee Hwang, also known as the "lord of the super kickers". Born in America, Roy relocated to Taiwan and subsequently Hong Kong after graduating from the University of Rhode Island.
In 1975, with Hwang's guidance, he broke into the Hong Kong film industry with roles in "Bruce Lee's Deadly Kung Fu" (1977),"Snuff Bottle Connection" (1977),and "The Ring of Death" (1980).
