Ryan Michaels, an American actor, was born on March 10, 1983, in Palos heights, Illinois. He spent his childhood in the Midwest until the age of 15, when he relocated to Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Ryan's parents, Robert Michaels, a real-estate agent, and Pamela Michaels (Milligan),a registered nurse, instilled in him a passion for performing at an early age. He showcased his talent by singing the National Anthem at a public event, impressing his parents to enroll him in school musicals and plays.
As he grew older, Ryan's interest in acting only intensified, and he was accepted into advanced theater in high school. His drama teacher praised his performance as Greg in "Flying" as exemplary of his skill.
Ryan's plans to attend Juilliard in New York City were put on hold when he felt compelled to serve his country after the 9/11 attacks. He joined the Air Force as a Security Forces member in 2002 and spent the next 12 years serving his country, with duty assignments in Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, Louisiana, Nevada, and combat tours in the Middle East.
During his active duty career, Ryan developed a deep passion for fitness and the gym. He eventually returned to acting work in 2008, seeking representation in the Vegas Valley and working to reestablish his dream of becoming a working actor.
Ryan's breakthrough role was as Matthew Evans in the science fiction/action film "Time Warrior." He also appeared in several other films and television shows, including a small role as Officer Cornick on CSI: Las Vegas in 2009.
Throughout his career, Ryan has been supported by his fellow peers in the military, who caught wind of his acting pursuits. He currently resides in Las Vegas with his wife Ashley and daughter Paige.
