Salim Kechiouche, a talented actor born in Lyon, France to Algerian parents, initially gained recognition as a kickboxing champion in France in 1998. However, it was his discovery by actor/director Gaël Morel that marked the beginning of his film career. His first appearance was in the movie À Toute Vitesse, followed by numerous roles in various films, including Gigolo alongside Amanda Lear, Les Amants Criminels, Grande École, Le Clan, and Le Fil. He also collaborated with Gaël Morel on multiple projects.
In 2013, Salim attended the prestigious Cannes Film Festival for his role in the movie La Vie d'Adèle, a critically acclaimed love story about a lesbian couple that won the Palme d'Or and the critic's prize. Additionally, that year, he appeared in the French series Odysseus as Orion and the movie Paris à Tout Prix.
Apart from his film career, Salim has also explored the world of theater and has been painted by renowned artists Youssef Nabil and Michel Gilberti. He currently resides in Paris.
