Sam Benjamin, a rising British actor, graduated from Drama Studio London and has been making a name for himself in the industry. With a lead role in The Pay Day (2022) on Starz, he is showcasing his talent to a wider audience.
Benjamin's impressive resume includes a role in The War of the Worlds (2019) opposite Eleanor Tomlinson, as well as appearances in the Doctor Who (2005) universe and Peaky Blinders (2013). He was hand-picked to join the National Student Drama Festival Ensemble, where he was taught Shakespeare by the renowned Patrick Stewart and John Britton.
One of his most notable roles was in the Lionsgate action movie I Am Vengeance: Retaliation (2020),where his character received great reviews, including a call for a spin-off movie following his maverick black ops recruit 'Shapiro'. A recipient of New York and LA Film Awards, Benjamin has also written and starred in The Few (2016) and Double Cross (2015).
In addition to his acting career, Benjamin has also ventured into screenwriting. His sophomore screenwriting venture, Double Cross (2015),made Official Selection at the British Urban Film Festival and SOUL Connect BFI Festival. He won the 'Best Script Award' at the BBC sponsored British Urban Film Festival Awards 2016 for his original TV drama script Liverpool 81.
Benjamin has also starred in several other projects, including Old Jack's Boat (2013) alongside Freema Agyeman, Little Crackers (2010) playing the brother of John Bishop, and has just completed his directorial debut with the pro wrestling drama short Screwjob.
