Samantha Herman's life journey began in Toronto, Canada, where she was born to Lesli and Robin Herman. As a child, she was exposed to a wide range of television shows and films, both contemporary and classic, which sparked a lifelong fascination with the world of entertainment.
Her academic pursuits took her to the University of Toronto, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, with a minor in History and a minor in Film Studies. Despite her passion for the entertainment industry, she decided to attend law school to gain a solid foundation in business and contracts.
Samantha's hard work paid off as she graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2010. After completing her legal education, she relocated to Los Angeles, recognizing it as the hub of the entertainment industry.
In Los Angeles, Samantha faced the challenges of the California Bar exam, which she successfully passed on her first attempt. She then worked at a law firm before realizing that her true calling was in the entertainment industry. Her first foray into filmmaking was as the production lawyer for a short film in Los Angeles.
Samantha's career took a significant turn when she joined Landed Entertainments as the General Counsel for the company's Los Angeles office. In addition to her legal responsibilities, she also works as a producer for music videos, short films, and feature films. Furthermore, she collaborates with her brother, Jesse Herman, on comedic crime projects as a writer.
Notably, Samantha is also a published author, having written a romance novel.
