Sarah Nina Hayon is a multifaceted actress and producer who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. With a strong presence on both coasts, she has had the privilege of receiving three Drama Desk nominations for her outstanding performances on stage.
Her extensive stage credits include work with renowned institutions such as New York Stage and Film, Manhattan Theater Company, The Vineyard, New York Theater Workshop, and Playwrights Horizon, among many others. Her performances have been recognized on annual top 10 lists in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
In addition to her stage work, Hayon has also made a name for herself in television and film. Her on-screen credits include notable shows such as 13 Reasons Why, Succession, Pose, and Law & Order, as well as films like Avatar and SATC.
Beyond her acting career, Hayon is passionate about nurturing new talent and supporting the development of new plays. She was a co-founder and Associate Artistic Producer of The 24Seven Lab, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the careers of emerging playwrights.
During her tenure at The 24Seven Lab, from 2004 to 2011, Hayon played a crucial role in the development of over 30 new plays, many of which went on to be produced on and off-Broadway. Some notable examples include Sam Hunter's award-winning The Whale and Annie Baker's critically acclaimed Circle Mirror Transformation, as well as Lucas Hnath's Hillary and Clinton.
Before pursuing a career in production and film, Hayon served as executive assistant to Sigourney Weaver for six years, discovering her passion for the industry during this time.
Born and raised in San Francisco, California, Hayon graduated cum laude from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
