Sasha Alexander's acting journey began in the seventh grade when she landed the lead female role in her school's production of "Baby". Little did she know that her male co-star would suddenly chicken out just hours before the opening night, leaving her to take center stage. Undeterred, Sasha showcased her impressive comedic skills and threw herself wholeheartedly into the role, receiving an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response from the audience. This marked the beginning of her illustrious acting career.
Throughout her high school and college years, Sasha continued to hone her craft by taking part in various productions, including summer stock and Shakespeare Festival performances. Her standout portrayal of Katherine in "The Taming of the Shrew" earned her the esteemed opportunity to study in London with the renowned Cicely Berry and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Upon graduating from USC's prestigious School of Cinema & Television, where she studied directing to refine her behind-the-camera skills, Sasha continued to build her acting resume by appearing in several critically acclaimed independent films that premiered at festivals across the country.
Beyond her successful acting career, Sasha has also ventured into writing, co-writing, producing, and starring in the comedy "Lucky 13" (2005) alongside Harland Williams and Lauren Graham. Additionally, she co-starred alongside Angie Harmon in the TV drama "Rizzoli & Isles" (2010),solidifying her status as a talented and versatile actress.
