Scott Innes, a devoted father of four, was born in 1966 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. With a passion for community involvement and service that is unparalleled, Scott has developed a unique broadcasting philosophy centered around the importance of family and laughter. He firmly believes that the sound of laughter is a powerful antidote to the trials and tribulations that people face on a daily basis, and that it has the ability to bring people together and provide a sense of healing.
In September 1997, Scott's voice became synonymous with the iconic character of Scooby-Doo, as he joined an all-star cast for the voicing of the movie "Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island". This was followed by a string of successful films, including "Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost" in 1999, "Scooby-Doo and The Alien Invaders" in 2000, and "Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase" in 2001, in which Scott brought the lovable character of Shaggy to life.
Throughout his career, Scott has received numerous accolades and awards for his outstanding commitment to his community. In March 1999, he was honored with the prestigious "Golden Mike" Award from the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters, in recognition of his impressive accomplishments. In April 1998 and again in April 1999, the readers of the Baton Rouge Parents Magazine voted Scott Innes as their "Favorite Family DJ". Additionally, in September 1998, Scott was awarded the "CMA Air Personality of the Year" and again in September 1999, he received the "NAB Marconi Air Personality of the Year" award.
