Sean C. Casey is a renowned filmmaker and storm chaser who has gained widespread recognition for his exceptional work in the field of extreme weather filming. As a prominent figure in the American documentary reality television series Storm Chasers, Casey has consistently pushed the boundaries of what is thought to be possible in terms of capturing the raw power and fury of tornadoes on film.
In pursuit of his passion for documenting these natural wonders, Casey created an IMAX film titled 'Tornado Alley', which serves as a testament to his unwavering dedication to his craft. To achieve the unprecedented goal of filming inside a tornado, Casey designed and built two custom-built vehicles, the Tornado Intercept Vehicle (TIV) and its successor, the Tornado Intercept Vehicle 2 (TIV2).
The culmination of Casey's tireless efforts, 'Tornado Alley' was released worldwide on March 18, 2011, to widespread critical acclaim.
