Sean Kyer, a talented young actor from Vancouver, has been showcasing his exceptional skills since the tender age of two, impressing everyone in his career path, including award show juries.
At the mere age of nine, Sean demonstrated his impressive acting abilities in the feature film "Everything and Everyone", playing a young boy grappling with the heart-wrenching losses of his mother and grandmother, and struggling with the emotional abandonment of his father, played by Ryan Robbins.
Now, at the age of fifteen, Sean boasts an impressive resume with over 22 credits, including three recurring lead roles in popular television shows. In the sci-fi series "Continuum", Sean played the role of Sam Cameron, the son of a detective who tirelessly works to return to the year 2077, from 2012 to 2015.
Sean also gained popularity for his role as Albert Bickley, also known as "Pockets", a coal-miner's son, in the Hallmark Channel's circa 1910 drama "When Calls The Heart", from 2014 to 2015. Despite his extensive range in playing dramatic roles, Sean's true passion lies in comedy, and he excels in it.
In the PBS Family Comedy "Odd Squad", Sean portrayed the role of Agent Oscar, a character that earned him a 2015 Daytime Emmy nomination. Sean's innate comedic timing and creativity were encouraged by the producers, allowing him to bring his unique perspective to the role.
Throughout his career, Sean has received numerous award nominations, including ten Young Artist nominations over five years, two Young Entertainers Award nominations, nine Joey nominations, a Daytime Emmy nomination, and a Leo nomination. Sean has won two Young Artist Awards, two Young Entertainers Awards, and four Joey Awards.
If Sean weren't acting, he would likely pursue a simpler career, such as that of a surgeon.
