Sebastian Zurita is the visionary behind Amazon's original Spanish comedy, "How to Survive Being Single". Born in Mexico City, he relocated to Miami at the age of 16, and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for the performing arts.
After graduating with a degree in international business and a minor in economics, Sebastian attended the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, where he honed his craft and co-produced his first feature film, "Angel Caido".
Sebastian's breakthrough role came when he starred in the Mexican telenovela "En Nombre del Amor", earning him the award for best actor and propelling him to international stardom. He went on to star in numerous successful projects, including "Corazon Salvaje", "Ciudadano Buelna", and "Amor de Mis Amores".
Sebastian's versatility as an actor led him to explore theater and film, with notable roles in "Cama Para Dos" and "Eddie Reynolds y Los Angeles de Acero". He also co-hosted the prestigious fashion fest alongside Alessandra Ambrosio.
In addition to his acting career, Sebastian founded his own production company, Addiction House, which has developed four feature films, including the international production "I Was There". His company has also produced several successful projects, including the hit soap opera for Telemundo that broke all audience records.
Sebastian's impressive resume includes working with renowned directors and producers, such as Manolo Caro, Gustavo Moheno, and Nigel Williams. He has also become a household name in the Latin market, taking him to co-host numerous events and become the new face for Calvin Klein.
Sebastian's latest projects include a musical created and written by him and his brother Emiliano, as well as two TV series for Sony Pictures and Amazon Prime. He is also adapting his latest play "Thinking Too Loud!" for the London stage, in collaboration with British multi-award winner Shaun McKenna.
Sebastian's upcoming projects include the release of "How to Survive Being Single" season 2 and 3, "El Galan" for Disney, and "Tequila Repasado" for Sony. His production company, Addiction House, has more than 20 titles in different stages of development, with "Champions Gym" being its latest show to be optioned by Sony.
