Shannon, a talented individual, was born in the vibrant city of Greensboro, North Carolina. She went on to achieve academic excellence, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the esteemed Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
Throughout her illustrious career, Shannon has had the privilege of working in a wide range of mediums, including film, television, stages of varying sizes, commercials, audio books, and even directing and teaching. Her impressive resume boasts a long-standing relationship with the renowned Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago.
Shannon's extensive theatre work has taken her across the United States and Europe, with credits including the world premieres of several notable productions. These include A Doll's House: Part 2, Bug, Man From Nebraska, and Picasso at the Lapin Agile.
Her outstanding contributions to the world of theatre have been recognized with numerous awards, including an Obie Award for her work on Bug. Additionally, she has received Joseph Jefferson Awards for her performances in Pal Joey at the Goodman and Dance of Death at Writers Theatre.
