Shea was introduced to the world of arts at a tender age of three, thanks to her parents who exposed her to dance and vocal lessons. This early exposure led her to take the stage by storm, performing in musicals and captivating audiences. Not long after, she received a full academic scholarship to Marymount Manhattan College, where she graduated with a BFA in acting.
Shea's theatrical credits include Broadway productions such as "The Little Prince" and "25th Anniversary of Lyrics and Lyricists - An Evening with Charles Strouse". She also toured the country with notable productions like "Show Boat", "The Little Prince", "West Side Story", "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum", "Annie Get Your Gun", "Three Penny Opera", "The King & I", "Steel Magnolias", "Le Malade Imaginaire", "Waiting For Ophelia", and "The Magic Flute".
In addition to her stage work, Shea has appeared in several TV series, including "Malcolm in the Middle", "One World", "Grounded for Life", "Lucky", and "Las Vegas". Her film credits include "Nice Guys Sleep Alone", "Little Indiscretions", "Every 43 Seconds", "Ask Curtis", "Straight-Jacket", "Bigger Than the Sky", and "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement", which received rave reviews and did tremendous box office business.
Shea's upcoming films include "Only for You" and "Screw Cupid", both set to release in 2006. She is also set to star alongside Jane Fonda, Lindsay Lohan, Dermot Mulroney, and Hector Elizondo in the 2007 film "Georgia Rule", directed by Garry Marshall.
