Shin Min-A, a renowned South Korean actress and model, was born on April 5th, 1984, with the birth name Yang Min-A. Her family consists of a father, mother, older sister, and brother. During her middle school days, Min-A took a captivating photograph with her friends during a school picnic, which she then sent to the popular teen magazine KiKi. This picture caught the attention of the magazine, and she was subsequently chosen as a model for KiKi. She began her career by appearing in commercials and music videos. In the year 2001, Min-A made her acting debut in the film "Volcano High" and reappeared two years later in "Madeleine". Her breakthrough performance came in the 2005 gangster film "A Bittersweet Life", where her character, Hee-soo, showcased a unique blend of purity and maturity that mesmerized South Korean audiences.
