Simon's theatrical endeavors began with a memorable performance as 'The Fool' in a London production of 'King Lear', which caught the attention of renowned writer and director Clive Barker. Barker extended an invitation to Simon to join the prestigious 'Dog Company', a London-based theatre group, where he would eventually collaborate with Barker on the first two 'Hellraiser' movies.
The massive success of the 'Hellraiser' franchise led to Simon being cast as the ill-fated 'Ohnaka' in the critically acclaimed film 'Nightbreed', shot on location at the renowned Pinewood Studios.
In recent years, Simon has worked alongside esteemed talents such as Jonas Armstrong and Sophie Ward on the horror film 'Book of Blood', filmed in Edinburgh. He has also shared the screen with horror icon Tony Todd, better known as 'The Candyman', in the suspenseful thriller 'Dead of the Nite'.
In 2016, Simon had the privilege of working alongside Golden Globe winner Joanne Froggatt on the powerful true drama 'Starfish'.
Simon's extensive television credits include the comedy-drama 'The Real Mamils', featuring Joe McGann and Gwyneth Strong, as well as the Dark Ditties series, where he not only acted but also served as a producer alongside Bruce Jones, Kenneth Cranham, and Mark Wingett. Episodes 1-3, 'The Offer', 'Mrs Wiltshire', and 'Finders Keepers', are currently available on Amazon Prime.
