Stefan is a multifaceted individual with a profound passion for music. During the period of 1986 to 1993, he was the driving force behind the Los Angeles-based band "TheKnights of The Living Dead". This ensemble garnered considerable attention, with several record deals being offered and ultimately signing with the prestigious Capitol Records.
However, fate had other plans, as the president of Capitol Records was suddenly terminated, and the new president opted to drop all newly signed bands, including "TheKnights of The Living Dead", that had not yet begun recording. Despite this setback, the band was able to secure funding to produce a demo with renowned producer Dave Jerden, who has worked with notable acts such as Jane's Addiction and The Rolling Stones.
Regrettably, by the time the demo was complete, the band was gradually disintegrating. Stefan and his partner, Roland Devoile, continued to create music until the devastating Northridge earthquake struck in 1994, prompting Stefan's girlfriend, now wife, Dawn, to decide it was time to leave Los Angeles. They subsequently relocated to Vancouver, Canada during the summer or fall of 1994, where they still reside to this day.
In addition to his musical endeavors, Stefan also played a pivotal role in securing one of his sister Alison Arngrim's earliest acting roles on the classic television series Room 222, which originally aired in 1969.
