Montreal born and Ottawa raised, Steffi DiDomenicantonio is a bilingual Dora Award nominated performer who has been gracing the stages of Canada and the United States with her presence for the past decade.
She was the Top 5 finalist on Season 4 of Canadian Idol, where she gained recognition and honed her skills alongside talented artists like Cindy Lauper, Martina McBride, Nelly Furtado, Roger Hodgson, Dennis DeYoung, and Chantal Kreviazuk.
After her impressive run on Canadian Idol, Steffi went on to tour the United States with the first Broadway National Tour of Spring Awakening as Ilse, a role she played over 600 times in 44 different cities over the course of two years.
Her success on Spring Awakening led her to take on the role of Janice and Others in the Broadway smash hit production of Come From Away at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, where she performed over 850 times.
Aside from her impressive stage credits, Steffi has also made appearances on the small screen in various French and English TV shows and national commercials, as well as on the big screen in the feature film Stage Fright alongside rock star legend Meatloaf.
In addition to her acting and singing career, Steffi co-created and co-hosts the online isolation talk-show Check In From Away on the Mirvish Productions' YouTube channel.
Steffi D, as she is affectionately known, acquired her nickname from the judges and Ben Mulroney during her time on Canadian Idol in 2006.
