Stephanie Brait's journey began in Boston, Massachusetts, where she was born and raised. She started her on-camera career shortly after college, with a notable appearance on Doug Liman's "I Just Want My Pants Back". This was followed by roles on Greg Berlanti's "Golden Boy" and the iconic "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit", a milestone in any New York-based actor's career.
Stephanie's passion for the performing arts was ignited at a young age. As a toddler, she was introduced to ballet, but her instructor recognized that she might be too energetic for the traditional ballet setting. Instead, her mother enrolled her in drama classes, marking the beginning of her journey in the world of acting.
After attending a prestigious New England prep school, Stephanie opted to pursue her creative ambitions at Walnut Hill School for the Arts. She then received a full scholarship to the College Conservatory of Music (CCM) to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. Additionally, she spent time studying abroad at Trinity College Dublin's Beckett Center through New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
While Stephanie has focused on screen work and voice-over projects in recent years, her background is rich in stage performances, musical theater, singing, and dance. Despite her early struggles with ballet, she has developed a strong foundation in these areas.
Today, Stephanie splits her time between New York and Los Angeles, with her heart also residing in New Orleans. She is represented bicoastally, allowing her to pursue opportunities on both coasts.
