Stephanie is a multifaceted individual who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry, boasting a diverse range of credits across television and film. Her impressive resume includes roles in HBO's Vinyl and The Dark Knight Rises, as well as numerous other projects.
With a particular fondness for period pieces, Stephanie has delved into writing several female-driven genre screenplays, often drawing inspiration from her own life experiences. Her latest creation, ASHES, is a high desert Western noir that premiered at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival SFC in 2024, followed by screenings at the LA International Film Festival, Hollyshorts, and the Mammoth Film Festival in 2025, as well as the Oscar-qualifying Cinequest.
In addition to her work on ASHES, Stephanie's previous passion project, a 1930's crime drama titled "A Cool Dark Place," has garnered significant attention. The short film screened at Cannes in 2013 and was subsequently showcased at various international festivals, including the New Filmmakers LA event, where it received nominations for best short and best performance in 2015. Furthermore, "A Cool Dark Place" was selected as part of the esteemed Content London's "shorts to series" initiative in 2019, where it was screened and pitched as a potential TV series.
The feature script for "A Cool Dark Place" went on to become a second-round contender at the Austin Film Festival Screenplay competition in 2022.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Stephanie has honed her acting skills at the renowned Nancy Banks Studio in Los Angeles. When not working on her craft, she can be found traveling, indulging in her love of animals, or horseback riding.
