Stephen Barrington, a talented individual, was born in the vibrant city of New York to Jamaican immigrants Lurline Archer and Lloyd Collins. His early life was marked by a unique cultural blend, as he spent his formative years on the picturesque island of Jamaica.
However, at the tender age of five, Stephen's life took a dramatic turn as he returned to the United States, specifically to North Carolina. This significant change brought about a new experience, as he began his educational journey in the Tar Heel State.
As he settled into his new environment, Stephen quickly adapted to the local dialect, effortlessly switching between his native Jamaican Patois and clear English in school. In contrast, he maintained his family's cultural heritage by speaking their native tongue at home.
Stephen's innate ability to absorb and assimilate different cultures allowed him to pick up on various customs and traditions at an impressive rate. His educational pursuits took him to the historic Hillside High School in Durham, North Carolina, followed by N.C. Central University, where he earned a degree in Theater Performance.
After dedicating over a decade to the world of theater, Stephen has relocated to the City of Angels, Los Angeles, where he is now pursuing a career in film and television.
