Biography

Stephen Broughton Lunt, professionally known as Steve Lunt or Steve Broughton, is a multifaceted creative force, boasting a rich background in songwriting, production, and A&R executive roles.

Hailing from Birmingham, UK, Lunt relocated to the United States in the late 1970s, where he has since established himself as a prominent figure in the music industry.

As one of the lead vocalists of the British rock band City Boy, Lunt's tenure came to an abrupt end when he was dismissed during a US tour. During his time at Jive, he had the opportunity to audition the renowned pop sensation Britney Spears and collaborated with the iconic boy band *NSYNC.

Following his stint at Jive, Lunt joined Atlantic Records, where he spearheaded the launch of the a cappella group Straight No Chaser's career. His subsequent role at United For Opportunity further solidified his reputation as a driving force in the music industry.
