Stephen Richard Lowe, a prominent figure in the Anglican Diocese of Manchester, held the esteemed position of suffragan Bishop of Hulme until his well-deserved retirement in July 2009.
During his illustrious career, Lowe also assumed the role of Link Bishop for Namibia, fostering connections and relationships between the two entities.
In addition to his episcopal responsibilities, Lowe served as the Chair of the Urban Bishops Panel, utilizing his expertise and leadership skills to address the unique challenges and opportunities facing urban areas.
Prior to his appointment as Bishop of Hulme, Lowe had spent a decade serving as the Archdeacon of Sheffield from 1988 to 1999, honing his skills and gaining valuable experience in the process.
