The distinctive spelling of her given name, Stephenie, can be attributed to her father, whose surname she incorporated into her first name.
Stephenie's academic pursuits led her to attend high school in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she was awarded a prestigious National Merit Scholarship. This esteemed recognition enabled her to finance her education at Brigham Young University, situated in the city of Provo, Utah. During her time at the university, she majored in the field of English.
Stephenie's romantic journey took an unexpected turn when she reconnected with her childhood friend, Pancho, whom she had initially met at the tender age of four.
