Here is the biography of Sterling:
Sterling, a SAG-AFTRA child actor, has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry with his early roles in Jericho, The Shield, ER, and Criminal Minds, as well as various voice-over assignments. He has recently featured in a national Angel Soft commercial and has evolved into a producer, director, and talent for his own production company and show, "Trash Talk with Sterling," a fast-paced YouTube sports show.
Some of Sterling's early roles include the film "Our Family Wedding" starring Forest Whitaker, America Ferrera, Lance Goss, and Regina King, as well as the low-budget film "Fit to Be Tied." In 2008, he appeared in the comedy heist film "First Sunday," which broke box office records, alongside Ice Cube, Tracy Morgan, Katt Williams, Loretta Devine, and Melinda Williams.
Sterling shared that he had a great time working on "First Sunday," and that Ice Cube was very nice, and Katt Williams even let him sit in his Bentley. He also earned over $150 by collecting dollars for his swear jar each time an adult used profanity on set, contributing to a cleaner language environment.
Loretta Devine commented that Sterling was well-mannered and a delight to work with, while director David E. Talbert praised his ability to take direction and deliver big on-screen performances, stating that he has something special and will be seen more in the future.
Later in 2008, Sterling co-hosted a dinner event with Randy Jackson for the A Place Called Home organization, helping to generate over $1 million in donations. He also participated in KJLH 102.3's annual "Snow Day" event, where underprivileged kids enjoyed a free day of snow activities, celebrity performances, and meeting Santa Claus.
Sterling was discovered on the streets of Beverly Hills at the age of five, and has since spent half his life as a SAG-AFTRA working actor, appearing in national commercials and stage productions. He has also voiced characters in "Everybody Hates Chris," "Norbit," and "Jericho."
