Steve Niles is a renowned writer who has played a significant role in revitalizing the horror comic genre. He is currently working on several projects for Dark Horse Comics, including "Wake the Dead", "Freaks of the Heartland", "Fused: Think Like a Machine", and "Love Me Tenderloin: A Cal Macdonald Mystery". Additionally, he is also writing for IDW, with projects such as "Hyde" and "Dark Days".
Niles' most notable work is probably his comic book series "30 Days of Night", which is being adapted into a major motion picture, produced by Sam Raimi, who is known for his work on the Spider-Man franchise. The film is currently in pre-production, along with adaptations of his other works, including "Wake the Dead" and "Hyde".
