Steven Krueger's journey in the performing arts began when his mother insisted he take an acting class during his freshman year of high school in Sarasota, Florida. Initially, he was hesitant, but it wasn't long before he fell deeply in love with the craft. Although he considered acting a hobby at the time, it wasn't until he landed in Los Angeles for a post-college internship that he realized his true passion lay in pursuing a career in the arts.
Steven's professional training took him to both Los Angeles and New York, where he worked with numerous renowned teachers. Before long, he started landing guest appearances on popular television shows such as Pretty Little Liars, Parenthood, and Workaholics. His big break came in 2013 when he secured the role of Josh Rosza on CW's hit spin-off series "The Originals". Although initially slated for a small recurring arc, Steven's portrayal of the character earned him a spot on E! Entertainment's list of "Top Ten Scene Stealers on TV" by the end of the first season.
As a result, Steven became a staple on the show for its entire five-season run. In addition to his on-camera work, he hopes to explore other creative avenues, such as directing and producing. Outside of the entertainment industry, Steven was a competitive tennis player for 15 years and enjoys traveling extensively, both within the United States and abroad, in search of outdoor adventures. He is particularly fond of mountain climbing and long-trek backpacking, which allows him to connect with nature and challenge himself physically and mentally.
