Steven Mark Hahn was born and raised in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, where he developed a passion for acting through classes at the renowned Guthrie Theater in Downtown Minneapolis. His instructors praised his charisma and screen presence, drawing comparisons to notable actors such as Sean Penn, Patrick Dempsey, and a young Eric Roberts.
Hahn's acting career spans numerous independent and student films, including the acclaimed Los Enchiladas!, which premiered at the prestigious 1999 Sundance Film Festival. He had the opportunity to work alongside renowned comedians Mitch Hedberg, Mark Maron, and Dave Attell during the production of this film.
Hahn's television credits include appearances on popular shows such as Picket Fences, Boston Common, Beverly Hills 90210, and various soap operas. He has also worked on several independent short films, including "Rice Park," which is set for release in November 2010, and "The Hostiles," which is expected to debut in the fall of 2010.
In addition to his acting and filmmaking endeavors, Hahn is a writer and is currently working on his own screenplay. The story, set against the backdrop of an Olympic hockey tournament, explores themes of love and features flashbacks to a tumultuous childhood.

When not acting or writing, Hahn is an avid sports enthusiast. He excelled in baseball, earning MVP honors in college and being voted onto various all-star teams. He is also skilled in hockey, tennis, and racquetball, and continues to play competitive hockey to this day.
