Rosen's family relocated to Long Beach, California, when he was just seven years old, and by 1963, he had already earned his degree from Long Beach State.
Following his graduation, Rosen secured a position as a production assistant at KCET, where he remained for a brief period.
In 1965, Rosen seized the opportunity to create a children's television show, Dusty's Treehouse, which premiered on CBS in 1968 and went on to air for an impressive ten years.
Throughout the early 1980s, Rosen was instrumental in launching several cable television networks, marking the dawn of a new era in the industry.
In addition to his work on cable television, Rosen also served as the casting director for the popular animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which debuted in 1987.
Rosen's impressive portfolio also includes work as the voice director for numerous hit cartoon shows, including Mask, My Little Pony: The Movie, Captain N: The Game Master, Defenders of the Earth, and Fraggle Rock, all of which aired during the 1980s.
As the 1990s began, Rosen continued to make his mark on the industry, serving as the voice director for the critically acclaimed computer game Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers in 1993.
He also lent his voice to the character Yuri Markarov in Quest for Glory IV: Shadows of Darkness, which was released in 1994.
Throughout his illustrious career, Rosen has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including ten L.A. Emmys and the George Foster Peabody Award.
