Stuart's journey as an actor began in 1999, and he continued to hone his craft until 2001, when he decided to take a break from the spotlight to serve his country. In October 2001, Stuart enlisted in the British army, marking the start of a new chapter in his life. He quickly rose through the ranks, from Private to Corporal, and served as an Infantry Soldier until his departure from the Army in 2008.
During his time in the Army, Stuart completed three operational tours, including two in Iraq. His first tour in Iraq took place during the "War Phase" in 2003, a period of intense conflict. On March 21, 2003, Stuart crossed the border into Iraq as part of the First Fusilier Battlegroup. This experience had a profound impact on Stuart, and it would later influence his decision to pursue a career in acting.
After leaving the Army, Stuart chose to utilize his skills in a different capacity. He qualified as a Close Protection Operative and joined a Vessel Protection Team, tasked with safeguarding ships against piracy in high-risk areas. This work not only provided Stuart with a sense of purpose but also allowed him to continue serving his country in a different capacity.
However, Stuart's passion for acting never truly faded. He began to consider new projects, and in recent years, he has made the decision to rekindle his acting career. Stuart currently resides in Newcastle, England, with his fiancé Christine and their daughter Hannah-May.
