Sufe Bradshaw, a Chicago native born into a family of nine siblings, was instilled with the values of hard work and dedication from a young age by her Sicilian father and Ghanaian mother. Her early life was marked by a strong sense of family and community, which would later influence her pursuit of a career in the performing arts.
Bradshaw's academic background in theatre was nurtured at the Los Angeles City Theatre Academy, where she earned a degree. She further honed her craft at Lee Strasberg's prestigious Actor's Studio West, under the guidance of Mark Rydell. Her training continued with intensive sessions in The Meisner Technique and coaching with renowned instructors Allan Miller and Michael Woolson.
Bradshaw's most notable role to date is as Sue Wilson, the no-nonsense character, in the critically acclaimed HBO comedy series "Veep", alongside Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Matt Walsh, and Tony Hale. Her recent work includes a supporting role in the Netflix film "Metal Lords", written and produced by D.B Weiss and directed by Peter Sollett. She also appeared in the 2021 Sundance romantic comedy "Together Together", starring Ed Helms, Patty Harrison, and directed by Nikole Beckwith.
In addition to her film and television work, Bradshaw can be seen in Netflix's action-adventure film "Murder Mystery", alongside Jennifer Anniston and Adam Sandler. She has also guest-starred on TBS's "The Guest Book", written and directed by Greg Garcia, and had the honor of playing a cadet alien in JJ Abram's blockbuster Paramount Pictures "Star Trek".
Represented by Ben Gorman at Buchwald Talent Agency and managed by Tim Taylor at Luber Roklin Entertainment, Bradshaw currently resides in Los Angeles, where she enjoys practicing yoga with her teacher and dear friend Jake Ferree. She credits the practice with having a profound impact on her life, saying "it is not about what you are doing, but who you are being."
