Suleka Mathew, a talented actress, was born in India and later raised in Vancouver, Canada. Currently, she resides in Los Angeles, where she has established a successful career in the entertainment industry.
Suleka's journey in acting began early in her college years, when she started pursuing her lifelong dream. Just a few months after enrolling in acting classes, she was signed by an agent and landed her first paid acting job as a lead in a Canadian anthology series. Since then, she has worked extensively in her field, taking on various roles in film, television, radio, and theatre.
Recently, Suleka has appeared in the film "That's Amor" (2021),the television show "Another Life" (2020),and played the role of Detective Arlene Branch on TNT's hit show "Claws" for three seasons. Her other notable roles include working as a series regular on the ABC drama "Red Widow" alongside Radha Mitchell, TNT's "Hawthorne" starring Jada Pinkett Smith, and ABC's "Men in Trees" opposite Anne Heche. Her other credits include "Midnight Sun", "Ten Days in the Valley", "How to Get Away with Murder", "Castle", and "The West Wing".
One of Suleka's earliest major roles was that of Dr. Sunny Raman on the acclaimed and award-winning Canadian dramatic series "Da Vinci's Inquest". The show, which was an international hit, eventually made its syndicated debut in the United States.
In addition to her television work, Suleka has also appeared in several feature films. She starred in the Sundance Festival hit "Touch of Pink", directed by Ian Iqbal Rashid, and appeared in the independent film "The Score", which was screened at the 2005 Vancouver International Film Festival.
