Tao Okamoto, a renowned Japanese actress and model, was born on May 22, 1985, in Chiba, Japan. She began her modeling career at the tender age of 14 in Japan, and later made the bold decision to move to Paris in 2006 to further develop her international career.
Tao's career in the fashion industry was marked by numerous milestones, including becoming one of the few prominent East Asian models of her era, walking the runways for top brands such as Alexander Wang, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Miu Miu, Ralph Lauren, and Yves Saint Laurent.
